Tim manages Number Tree Capital® with extensive experience in financial strategy and investments, as well as deep expertise in statistical modeling, analytics, and risk management. 

Prior to starting this firm, he served for fourteen years as an executive in the investment industry, used his expertise in strategy and analytics to support neuroscience medical research at Stanford University, set derivative pricing for energy securities, conducted valuation and strategic assessment for hedge funds and private equity investments, prepared neural network algorithms for fraud prevention, and coordinated financial and marketing analytics for internet commerce and financial services companies.

A graduate of Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Neuroscience and the SMU Cox School of Business with a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance, Tim is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional. He is known for his critical thinking, analytical insights, and strategic vision. In 2014, he was recognized as a “Fort Worth Business Press” 40 Under 40 honoree.
